About Glasgow Churches Together

Glasgow Churches Together was formed in 1988 as part of the Glasgow Garden Festival celebrations, and continues as an ecumenical forum and focus for activities.

Its member churches are the Church of Scotland, Methodist Church, Roman Catholic Church, Salvation Army, Scottish Episcopal Church, United Free Church and United Reformed Church.

Glasgow Churches Together works closely with denominations, congregations and local ecumenical groups within the City of Glasgow and in adjoining areas within the Church of Scotland Presbytery of Glasgow and/or the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Glasgow.

Monsignor Gerry Fitzpatrick, who has been involved with GCT since the beginning, has written a brief history of the organisation.
